40 Mile foundation is a non - profit organization founded in 1960 consisting of 7 Board members that are appointed from the represented elected member municipalities.  PVL is owned and operated by 40 Mile Foundation and consists of 71 Rooms, 55 upper level rooms and 16 lower level self-contained cottages.

 Our purpose is to provide accommodations to our senior citizens in Bow Island and Area in a safe home atmosphere, to offer daily aids to living in conjunction with other community services and to promote leisure, recreation, social activities, independence and involvement in family and community life. We  will provide a high level of safety for our residents and staff.
